New Ross - Joseph Earl Linn, 79, died Friday morning at his farm home 1 1/2 miles SW of here. He had been in failing health since the death of his wife June 19, 1966. Linn was born June 9, 1888 in New Ross the son of James Washington and Flora Belle Humbert Linn. He married Bonnie June McMullen Oct 29, 1919. He was a member of the New Ross Methodist Church. Survivors include a son, Donald Linn of Crawfordsville; 3 granddaughters, Diana Kay, Judith Ann and Debby Jo; a brother, Floyd I. Linn who has always resided at the Linn home; a sister, Mrs. Roy Robison and two nieces, Mrs. Harold Walters and Mrs. Walter Harpel. Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Monday at Hunt & Son Funeral Home in Crawfordsville, Rev. Henry Karg will officiate. Burial will be in the Oak Hill Cemetery in Crawfordsville. Friends may cll at the funeral home after 7 p.m. Saturday.
